Did you get to see where the county truck running just the belly blade or the big-ole nose beast?About an inch of snow with a light rain freezing on top. A nice crunchy mix. Chickens were in the coop all day with a hanging cabbage to keep them entertained. Coop is at 36'F with 87% humidity. Good enough for 8 eggs today.
The county plow just went through. I love these guys. They really take good care of the roads here. I'm going to go out and plow before it gets dark.
It was the dump truck with a belly blade. Last winter we had enough snow that they brought out the big grader with the huge nose blade.Did you get to see where the county truck running just the belly blade or the big-ole nose beast?
Do you have a 2-stage blower? I have an 8HP Toro that can throw even slush some 20 feet.Parts of my driveway are 2-3" of pure slush...
....wonder how that's gonna go thru the thrower?![]()
Only 2" here (as measured on the patio table). Used the tractor to clear the driveway and the road that the County truck missed. Paths cleared to the garage and the coop. I love my tractor. We've had somewhere between 8 and 10 inches - hard to tell for sure because of the wind. Spent over an hour or on the tractor and got the drive from the house down cleared, still have to do back to the coop. Windy as heck.
Dayum, that sounds like walking to school thru 10 feet of snow uphill both ways!!Do you have a 2-stage blower? I have an 8HP Toro that can throw even slush some 20 feet.
Thanks, gonna need it.Good luck getting your driveway cleared.
Only 2" here today. Not the 8" they were predicting.
