I woke up a week ago with no hot water - the heater was off for some reason, but resetting the breaker woke it back up and no problems since.
Then this morning work up to no HEAT... Grrr. Turns out the propane tank was empty. Since I am on Autofill, they are supposed to check the tank every 4-6 weeks. Turns out no one has been here since NOVEMBER. They had to come out, refill, purge, and restart every single Gas appliance. And this is not the first time - they did exactly the same thing 3 years ago. WTH.

I try to check my propane tank every couple of weeks, because that's not fun...

He must have done some crosses. He has beautiful birds! I think he has cut back on bird numbers though.

A lesson in 'Never say never'! One of my cockerels has a couple of black toes, obviously they were frozen. Blast! Who knows how it happened, my first ever bird who's done this! He's walking, eating, and seems okay otherwise, but tomorrow I'm going to see how his feet really are doing.
And the local TSC has chicks!

We got an inch or so of snow, so far......it's clinging to the mesh roof of the run, not enough to sag thankfully....should be fun knocking that off.

FFH also has chicks. They had special order Starlight ? easter eggers. Never heard of them. It's star something....lol
Lots of snow falling... and blowing.
