Glad you've got your 'no mud' path in place.

My only concern now is if the pallets sink in the mud. I might have to add another layer.

Opened the Coop today and looked at the thermometer. 46'F with 65% humidity. I think I can live with those numbers.

Now I have to go out and try to fix my Jeep. Several minor things to be done, the worst being taking the whole front end off just to get to the washer bucket which sprung a leak.

Also trying to do laundry and some house keeping. I'll be tracking mud in all day.

Beautiful day today. I was outside with nothing more than a t-shirt ans chamois shirt. Moved most of a temporary compost heap to the big pile on the other side of the garage. About 20 scoops moved. That resulted in a wet muddy mess wherever the tractor tires went. The circular drive is also a horrible muddy mess.

Some of the cover crop of clover is sprouting. I hope it all takes. That would help with some of the mud.

Chickens loved being outside all day. The run isn't exactly dry but it's not a muddy mess. I guess that shredded tree mulch is helping.

Got the Jeep up on ramps to try to fix a couple of mechanical issues. Not sure I'll get it done tomorrow. I'm taking another guy's shift. That will give me 3 days of work this week. Might even make 25 hours of pay.

Orientation is next week. I haven't heard back if the background check has gone through. I wonder if being a Convicted Chicken Criminal will hurt me.

My background check came back tonight. It says that I have no criminal background.
I guess they didn't check with Garden City. I have a "Probation Release" dated Jan. 19, 2018 from the GC court. Wording within the release says that I completed 7 years of probation as a 2 of 3 "habitual offender" of city "laws".

I was never told of the extended probation period. It was supposed to be just the 90 days of jail. Which was suspended after I did one (1) day in city lock up. I did know that was my second offense because the first was 30 days jail, suspended. First offense was "taken under advisement". Funny how the local legal system works.

They probably only look for felonies.

I'm not disappointed. Just pointing out how a local court was operating by their own rules.
