First, have a good design. What's the best way to build my coop?
Thank you. I don't think it is because there is still so much to do so I can take the chicks out but is taking shape for I am thankful.@Dreamzchaser, that paper is called tar paper. I will be putting the tar paper on the roof of my add on in the next day or two as well. Your coop is looking good!
Today, I have to take my dog back to the vet to get tested for Addison's disease. Wow, have things changed in the 3 days since her check up on Friday. Before, no problems eating. Now she doesn't want her food. Before, no excessive thirst, now, it's drink-drink-drink. She was a bit lethargic before -- she's 11 -- now she doesn't want to do much at all. I would have chalked it up to the vaccines she got, but now I'm a bit worried.
Those are 3 symptoms of Addison's. There is treatment available, thank goodness. We'll do whatever we need to, as she's our baby.
I am really hoping there is no conflict with our trip to NC in a couple weeks. I can stay home with her, but this is a family trip to see family we haven't seen in two years.
Well I had that one design from before that I did. It was gonna be like a rectangle almost and then on the side had a second room for them to go outside into their pen when they weren't free rangingFirst, have a good design.
Do you have any idea what you want to build?
You'll need something that will protect them well all winter....plenty of space with good roof overhangs for soffit ventilation in coop.....maybe even a roof on the run.Well I had that one design from before that I did.
