Tomorrow we are going to Danish Festival in Greenville. We make a circuit of the art/craft booths, and hit the area in Veterans park. There's a big tent there every year that has cheap/discounted stuff. I get the best socks and garden gloves there.

Last year, the festival was canceled, of course, and I've been making my socks and gloves last. I'm looking forward to new socks and gloves! :gig

My roo lost his last remaining sickle feather. Yesterday he looked a little silly with just one there. Now he looks even sillier with his rounded rump.

Major score at the hardware store. I was looking for a stackable plastic chair to put in the run. I'm about 3 months too late. Except this one store had them. Not the cheap little ones; this was $30, but good sized. It'll be upside down in the run, so it's a perch and a hideout. Then I can turn it over and have an unpooped on seat.

DH just texted. He's bringing home some pallets! Yay! Now I'll have some wood to build a couple more "clutter" things for the run.

@Dreamzchaser how is phoebe doing today? Any updates?
She is alive. I have been very busy with her and other stuff. I gave up. I had to cut her loose. She has her medication every morning and is not a white chicken anymore. She has been rolling in the dirt like a lose dog for sure. I had a pen in the yard but let her sleep with the others in the coop since she stays only to one corner and I can see through the camera if she moves and see her poop in the morning. After 8 days, I let her out. She drove me insane walking up and down that pen. It was like a jail to her. She would not eat unless it was close to the sides and the others will push through to reach her food and she will eat with them. I made her a nest box and covered it with card board. Got tarps and made shades for her. I did all I possibly could until I gave up. She is laying double yolk eggs but I am feeding them back to her until the end of the month since she is taking medications.
I miss you all too. My depression level has been to all time high with this girl. I wish I could give her a bath and make her white again but it will take about 5 hours to do so and dry her up completely with the blow dryer. Then she will be all full of dirt in 10 minutes, lol

I should have come earlier to give you update but I could not. She eats her feed fine and her poop is not runny. I can see grass and all she ate the day before. Her crop is full at night and empty in the morning . I do not let her eat anything in the mornings until she has had her medication to make sure it works good against any bacteria in the walls of her crop. I do offer feed before I take her out. She takes a little but prefers to eat with the others. The little seabrights were her best companions while in the pen. They always hang around the pen. A few times the others will come and hang out but then they would be chickens and take off. Speaking of the seabrights, Tamera, the bigger one had laid eggs. They are like a pigeon eggs in alight brown color just like Sophia's the naked neck. They are all laying daily. Only one more eggcident the other morning before 6am. I let them out by 630am and bring Phoebe inside and give her her medication and I drink coffee with her. Today I talked a lot with her and even forgot to take my medications. Now I have a hard case of heartburns. It will go away hopefully befor ethe night falls.
I took down the temp run eventhough the real run is not finished. I used the orange stuff to enclose it and they go down the cleaning door after I go in and take Phoebe in a towel with me. They also go in by themselves. No need for the shovel anymore. It was pretty hot here today. It went up to 90. I cut a watermelon and gave them some and a few frozen bluberries that I have left. They drank 4 bottles of water today so far.
One of the little seabrights, not the laying one but Tia, I noticed that she has no full crop at nights like the others. I am not sure if I need to be concerned about that. She eats last and not as fast as I would want her to be when it comes to get food. Unlike flying around, she is the first one out,lol
Well, I am going to let you all go and keep reading around about all of your adventures.
