So far, integration of my 3 chicks and the rest of the flock is going well.

My puppy is still doing very well with, well, everything! Very happy with her, and I think she with us.

Life is good.

I think so too. The foster person had her for two weeks, and seemed very knowledgeable about dogs.

Freya also seems to catch on pretty quickly.

I feel so very lucky that we have her and she has us.

Evening folks. It's been awhile since I last posted. Nice to see the thread this active.

I don't know what I did to myself but somehow caused a pretty severe injury to my right shoulder. Lots of pain up and down my arm. Can't raise my arm at all. I had so much pain Sunday night that I left early so I could be at the walk-in clinic when they opened. It was in the morning when the sinus infection started kicking in. So I got x-rayed and a shot for the pain and a muscle relaxer. They made an appointment for me with my regular doctor on Tuesday. Unfortunately I was in so much pain that I missed the appointment. Now the symptoms are getting worse. The darn pain is now across my neck, shoulder, collar bone, and arm down to the elbow. The sinus infection has spread across my head and dropped to my chest. My neighbors are going to town tomorrow so they can pick up my prescriptions.

Hopefully the new scripts will get me back on my feet. I need to get the old car ready for the car show on Sunday. And I need to be capable of driving to the show and back. Right now I can barely walk to the coop and back,

Also consider having a Covid test soonest. It bit me in the rear end last week...

So sorry about the shoulder. Check out how to avoid frozen shoulder. We didn't know shoulders are different than other joints and ended up with a year of very painful physical therapy as a result.

Howdy y'all. checking in here. Kinda grumpy as GVSU was supposed to have a football game tonight, but our opponent, Edinboro University, had a bad outbreak of Covid last week and wasn't going to be healthy tonight, so they forfeited the game. Rumor was that they made offers to other D2 schools out there that are in the same boat with their opponent having to cancel their games due to Covid, but so far no takers, even with GVSU offering to play at their place. Just no takers. And just doesn't look like its happening right now.
