Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Yeah! I have 2 empty milk gallons and take one at a time. It sucks. I empty every 3 days because dirt gets in them since they still make holes to dust in the run. I thought they would stop because the earth is cold. Not a chance. I empty one in a 5gl pail and toss outside. Then the next. Easy task in summer. Winter is another 20bucks,lol
I am old guys. 2 plates with 13 screws on right ankle. Right knee with arthritis. The hands, deforming arthritis but they work for what I need most like eating and....
Left is only good to wear a watch and hold the cell, lol I have no clue what else is good for,lol I am right handed. Lost 40lbs but would love to loose another 30lbs. Then pre-diabetic and now hypertension. It sucks to get old!
Yeah, I'm old too with mobility and hand issues due to injuries and arthritis.
I guess I'm lucky in that I've devised an easy to operate waterer.
Just top it off daily with the same one gallon vinegar bottle for the last 8 years.

Think I saw a snowy owl fly over.
Was a very quick glimpse but right size/shape/color.

I too dislike that FI plastic heater waterer. It's miserable to fill and manage. The heated bases with waterers on them are much more user friendly.

Indeed. The FI heated drinker is poorly made. I had to repair the electric cord a few times. The reservoir doesn't engage with the base very well. I've had it disengage while carrying it when I bumped the base with my leg. I'm glad the POS has to be replaced.

Some days it takes several tries just to tie my shoes.
I try to stick with slip-ons :D

Just slipped on my muck boots to clear 6" of snow off the fragile shed roof in anticipation of Tuesdays 40° rain. Was only going to do the worst part, but it was so easy I did it all.
Glad that's done, but my wrist is killing me....and I'm sure other parts are going to flare up in time.

Right now I have only one waterer in the run, the heated dog bowl. I unplug and dump it every night at lockup, and plug it in and fill it every morning. I carry out a gallon (milk) jug, and that's all I have to worry about for the day. I have the bowl up on a cinder block, so it stays pretty clean.

When I don't have to worry about water freezing, I have 3 waterers out there. Might make it just two next spring, since one seems to be enough now.

Dreamz, congratulations on your weight loss! It's not easy to do.

I've had an interest in quail for a while now. Someone gave me some Bobwhite eggs last summer and we ended up with 4 survivors. Three males and 1 female.

I might be interested in a Blue Sumatra. Do any of them have a wide below horizontal tail? The smaller the better.
Fresh brewed coffee here, in my favorite cup.

Hey Troyer,
You are welcome to come out anytime and pick out a roo if you like. We still have a spoon to return to you from the party this summer!
