Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

This cockerel is a Novogen Brown hybrid from the Freedom Ranger hatchery. He's going to be larger, and likely will produce good layers. Here he's literally the 'fifth wheel' and so not needed!

I was hoping it would be a bantam ameracauna. I won't be able to use the hybred.

Good news on your hubby👍Bet you're both happy!
Do you sell your roosters? I'm pretty sure I've got at least two? They are very feisty, they start cock fights with each other, larger combs and waddles, longer tails, darker. Wait and see I guess.
It's cold and rainy up here again today☔
We saw the robins yesterday! Spring is here:ya
No robins in the western UP yet, but the snow is melting fast.

@CATRAY44 , I don't have Silkies, but do have extra hens. What are you looking for? Bantams or standard? Two or more? It's harder to integrate one bird into a flock...
Mary
I have a way to keep her next to but not accessible to the flock for the time it takes to acclimate her. We are building a home while living next door to our property, but not set up for a brooder. (I do have a coop and run. ) A broody hen has always been my favorite way to hatch for my needs. My standards don’t go broody often.
