Oh also, it’s pretty crazy but like all of our ice melted already. I’m at work right now and the ice has been coming off the roof in giant sheets and making the loudest racket.

Right now it sounds like it is raining, there's so much ice/water coming off the trees.

Dreamz, I doubt I'll be getting out of here on Saturday to go to Midland. Our road is going to be a sheet of ice.

I was actually already supposed to go to midland to meet some family for lunch but that canceled since my grandma took a spill down some stairs and is now in the hospital with two cracked vertebrae in her neck, a fractured knee, and a fracture eye socket and nasal cavity. She’s also got stitches and such. She’s needed lots of extra care so I won’t be able to come but I wish I could have.

No rain or ice here - never got above 18 degrees, heading downwards now towards below zero. Lots a lots of snow, anywhere the wind did not blast it away, around 9-10 inches so far. My sweet neighbor plowed me out today so I did not have to get on the tractor when I got home - he was bored . I had a dentist appointment in Cheboygan, about a 25 mile drive across the Bridge, roads were decent and fortunately there were not many vehicles on them.

All the best to your grandma, sounds miserable!
Ice here but we have power, only an outage for 20 minutes last night. Melting all day, so it will be sheet ice in the morning. We got lucky again here!

Hope grandma feels better soon.
Everything was covered in ice. Started to melt early afternoon. So, I went out and scraped the ice off the deck and stairs and the patio. Ice was thick enough I knew it wouldn't completely melt and we would just have the same problem.

Yup. Good thing I don't have to go to work. I'd be calling in.
