Tried it once and dlike it. I used to drink when young before any kids. My favorite was Jose Cuervo Gold and vodka. I drank a lot of beer while in service until one morning I smelled my own alcohol and stopped. Maybe after that until today, I probably have had 10 beers in 30 some years,lol I might have a little wine only with my sister in PR. So last time had less than 8 Oz of wine was 2019.

It's not a bad thing to stay away from alcohol as a rule. I have a brother that can't go for very long without beer. If he doesn't get to drink a least one beer a day he becomes irritable.

Hubby likes beer. I don't drink any alcohol, unless my homemade kombucha has some. But if it does, it isn't enough to feel any kind of buzz.

A ripe banana has some alcohol. I've never gotten a buzz from them either.

So sorry Mr Troyer. Unfortunately that what a real alcoholic is. People think an alcoholic is some that drink heavily hard alcohol but it really is when someone cannot go without just one ounce of alcohol a day. I have a brother on PR that is also an alcoholic. Sad because he is a wonderful person and he provided for us the freshest fish,lobster,crab,octopus,conch or any sea edible animal. We were very poor due to lack of finances but we ate better than any riches on the island. I do miss that a lot. Now, if I want a good size red snappers, I have to get it frozen and pay almost 50 bucks per fish.
If I was near the ocean, I could try to fish myself,lol

Happy Wednesday! Freezing rain right now, not so nice. The forecasts keep changing: freezing rain/ snow/ sleet/ snow/ whatever. We go NOWHERE in freezing rain! Just did the outside critters, and plan to stay inside today otherwise.
Maybe cooking? We'll see. Reading a novel sounds good too.

Yup. Staying home, staying safe. I bottled my kombucha a day early, and then decided to brew the next batch two days early. I bet we're going to lose power, and I don't want to have to do that by generator power.

I have a day off today so I can avoid the snowy roads. I was going to go to town for diesel fuel but it can wait. I only went out to tend the birds and came back in right away. I'll go out later to fetch eggs. I've been getting a few every day now. Still seriously thinking about getting chicks. My TSC was setting up brooders this past weekend but I didn't go there this week.

Saw the ortho doc to get the MRI results. It ain't good. Going to need surgery on elbow and shoulder. He was planning for that when he saw the MRI results but now we have to wait until the bursitis is cleared up. I'm on strong anti-biotics for 10 days and if it is not cleared up then I have to go to hospital for a 24 hour infusion. I hope the pills work.

I got an odd egg the other day. I always like the oddly shaped eggs and double yolks.
