Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Haven’t been on here much, but just a summary of what’s been happening- somehow last weekend I messed up a rib. the only thing I did was mucking out stalls and the chicken coop, but I also had some bad sneezes that day. Well since then I’ve been in excruciating pain and am unable to do a ton around the farm. I went to the chiropractor on Wednesday but he just thinks I bruised the rib or it’s inflamed and or a muscle is pulled. But there was nothing that happened like impact that I would think could bruise it. Plus it seems to move around and pop a bit and constantly feels like it’s out of place. I’ve lived with it for several days now and we’ve decided I should probably have x rays taken. Sighhhh. The weather also isn’t helping my mood, and both of my mares are lame as of last night. One has arthritis, and goes on and off, and the other I don’t know why, and haven’t had a chance to fully examine her. I wouldn’t be surprised if she has an abscess or scratches since at least my other mare who has arthritis I found also has scratches right now due to mud. I’m supposed to ride her in a ranch riding clinic in a few weeks so she better be better by then whatever it is. There is no heat or swelling in her legs, and she’s gaited so it is difficult to see exactly where and when she is sore 🤦‍♀️😭

This was the longest return from flower. Had to get the ac serviced. 120 bucks for temporary relief. It has a leak. But made it to Atlanta and he'll was there. Stuck in traffic for ever and ever bit was not driving. Hub has a very tiny fuse. No matter what I said, it was the wrong thing. On top, breaks were making all kinds of sounds. Needs new rotors but hub brought down every Saint and evil to the mix. I so much dislike that with a passion. Finally after I kept screaming to the top of my lungs that we needed to stop for over an hour, he stopped. I told him to pull in an oil change place and he was like, they know nothing about breaks and all kinds of things. The kid was very kind and said, it was the rotor and showed him with a flashlight. He said we will make it to MI but will need to have them changed. Hub listened to the guy that said just what I had been screaming over an hour. Then I told him, let's get a hot bite to eat to just cool off. Food was horrible because he picked a Mexican restaurant. I just had a drink and some chips with white cheese. He broke again like you don't eat Mexican. I was like, who cares if I didn't, I don't like their food and that is me and I was fine with myself. Well, after a few hours and driving east to get away from the mess, we are back going north. I said, would you be OK driving while I take a nap? He said yes. So I did. Wrong, he pays no attention to GPS nor road signs. Woke up with GPS saying the time of arrival. When I checked, the GPS rerouted and he missed the exit. So we were going north but to Chicago. Then he begins with his never ending complaints of next time I take a plain and should had been home a day ago, blah,blah... He should have. My trips ate never stressed. I will not be caught on a plane and drive perfectly fine.

Anyways, we made it around 10pm on Wednesday. Had a bit of being tired, so have been resting and catching up on my recordings of my shows. Animals are happy to see me.
This morning got welcomed home.

Temperatures on the upper 30's. Just the way I like it. So happy to be home. Never driving with him again. I like to enjoy my trips.

Well the doc said there’s nothing broken and that dislocated ribs weren’t actually a thing 🤷‍♀️ but he thinks there may be something badly inflamed in there and the muscles and area is overused badly (I don’t really get exactly what he was trying to say but whatever. He basically said I shouldn’t do chores much especially no mucking stalls or coops and I should rest and take an anti-inflammatory regularly and put heat on it. It can take several several weeks to heal he said 😭😩😖
