Well the doc said there’s nothing broken and that dislocated ribs weren’t actually a thing ...
Maybe there is a difference of terminology of some sort but the head of the rib certainly can slip off the fossa of the spine. That is called dislocation of a rib at least sometimes. I've had it a few times. A chiropractor puts it (or them) back. It goes from a very sharp pain at every breath to kinda sore for a couple of hours or a day or so. I don't know what a dr would say it is; I never went to a dr for that.

Have had that happen too.

Yeah I really doubted that when he said it wasn’t a thing. Yeah and that’s the thing I’ve had really sharp pain when I breathe in all the way or when I cough or sneeze, and I feel like it slips around in there.

I used to put my first ribs out fairly regularly, after several visits to chiropractors I finally figured out how to put them back in myself. Not exactly pleasant though. Rib subluxations are not down along your sides, they are where your ribs attach either along your breast bone or along your back.

Dreamz, sounds like a trip from hell. Glad you made it home safe though.

Sounds like everyone is having aches and pains. I'm in that club too. Any way, I saw the vascular specialist and he said there is nothing wrong with my arteries. So it's back to the neurologist to set something up with a spine specialist to review my lower back and the bulging discs. Also saw the ortho guy and he wants to go in to the shoulder for repairs. At least it's not the rotator cuff. Easy fix he says. One hour surgery as an out-patient. No restrictions with this procedure. Two weeks after this he wants to do the elbow. That one comes with a six week restriction. At least I'll be able to do light work; no heavy lifting.

So with that news I think I'll be able to get a batch of chicks. Hopefully I can get the coop mucked out and set up a brooder.

Winston is doing well. He is up to 43 lbs. at 21 weeks. We have been working on "sit" and "shake". He does them about 80% on the first command. Sometimes it takes 2 commands but he will obey. We are still working on house training. My GF bought me some jingle bells for the door. So every time we go out to pee/poop, I jingle the bells. Winston has picked up on this and rings the bells when he needs or wants to go out. The only accidents happen when I'm at work. He still gets into some mischief though. For example...

I came home late from work and Winston wasn't at the door waiting. I called to him but got no answer. He was in the bedroom with his head stuck in a Milk Bone box. He ate the entire box all the way to the bottom and the box was over his head to his shoulders. :gig

I think as winter tries to leave,(one day soon) all aches come out. My edemas are finally down but the aches don't stop.
I make plans outside and either the ground is solid frozen or snowing again like today.

Yes, it seemed like a trip from hell but not because I was coming from hell but was traveling with the devil, lol That is one trip I might take this summer, lol Heard it was a small town but might just drive through it unless there is something to do there that interests me.

Raz seems like Winston was having fun while you were gone, lol Glad he was OK.

Darn time messed up the doors, lol everyone was waiting in front of the door waiting for it to open. Got to change its timing today. Should have done it yesterday but slept all day.
