Well, no surgery, thank God. My vocal chords got cleared. The white is my saliva stuck on the zenker's diverticulum which I call my walmart bag. That is why I am always coughing to clear it out. So blessed!

More not great news: a dairy herd in Montcalm county has avian influenza, probably from cattle (apparently healthy) brought in from one of those infected herds in Texas.
UGH!!!
And not so far from Shiawassee county, where we live...

Well, I've been gone for a bit but wanted to update quickly. My tiniest girl (Rocket) passed away yesterday and super quickly. My cousin is a former Large Animal vet and with all the AI news these days, she finally convinced me to let her take her to MSU for a necropsy. I'll have an update within the next few days, hopefully it's not AI.

Here she was on Friday... just a little sweetie. I'm going to miss my little cuddle bug. It hurts, but at least I can take solace in the good life she had here.
