So, did the mid day chicken check a little while ago. As some of you may know, I picked up my first guinea yesterday. Today she decided she needed a new roost while I was in the coop. I came back out to find this....





I also took some pics in the snow yesterday and thought I would share them : )

chickenstock is the annual meet and greet, buy and sell that the MI thread does. Somewhere near lansing, i didn't get to go last year. Maybe this year i will get to go and meet everyone!

It was a potluck at a park last year, kid friendly!

i think there were crafts, too, not just chickens?

Seriously??? That sounds like a dangerous place for people like us! LOL I am so there. When is it?

Howdy All

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth yet.
December is always busy here, I started a turkey housing before winter hit but now it's side-tracked till weather warms up.
Hope ya'll survived Christmas, I did.
Watching the days grow longer now.........toodles.

about the third Saturday in June. We'll know more about the date after the first of the year. We cannot reserve the park until then.

These guys are still young, oldest is 12 weeks, the rest outside are 9 weeks old. The one with the big crest has a vaulted skull, there are 2 others with small crests.
