Hope's birthday is today and she hasn't seen her shadow. Of course she hasn't been outside so that could be a factor. She was going to go grocery shopping with me but she was too but baking her own birthday cake.

How long does everyone keep thier eggs b4 they throw them out.. or do you do the water float test when they are older.. just wondering
no problem as long as you don't let them sit in it after cooking.Tap, was wondering? Does using that much vinegar flavor the eggs? I use a T or so or I will use salt but have never used that much of either,
enjoy your snow.. we dont have much here..no problem as long as you don't let them sit in it after cooking.
Last night we got 8 more inches of snow on top of the 5 + we got during the day yesterday. HOWEVER... the sun is out now!So the shoveling is done and plowing mostly done (DH got called in at 4).![]()
Sorta, but the link i remember about injecting stuff into the egg was one of the methods used to treat eggs laid from MG infected hens in order to try to produce MG free chicks, the easier method was the dipping of the eggs.So I let him run around and talk to me. He actually wasn't messy, which surprised me. This isn't a great picture but where he decided to roost to keep me company. He is such a sweet rooster!

I read on cook's country that STEAMING fresh eggs will result in easy to peel eggs when they are fresh! Just do for the same amount of time you would boil them.does anyone know a foolproof way to hard boil eggs so the peels come off easy? I know the baking method. Is it putting baking soda in the water?
Good to know you would like them, I havent tossed any, I was just wondering.. I only have 5 hens so i havent had any problems like that. Please don't anyone throw out eggs which might not hatch or be eaten. Please contact me. I will take them!! Will pay reasonable amount .... Although free is always nice! LO
