Between you, Nova and BYFM, you are really trying to get me in trouble. Aren't you?

I have one blue pullet frizzle/sizzle silkie. My breeding pens are set up so there will more soon. I have Claude McAllister's, Seven Oaks Game Farm line, (he passed away) with my show silkies.

RaZ- I think not only is the pressure washer a terrible idea due to the old paint, my goodness, if you put pressure onto wood that is at all soft, that is asking for trouble. We power washed an old house (cedar shake) and it was a horrible mistake. Best practice is scrape any huge loose areas, wash with TSP then prime and re paint. Or just go over it with vinyl. I think you've done a great job.

Hey, Grandrapidsgirl... I am planning on going the confidential, and I know this guy there who has golden sbrights... Unless they are already spoken for,RaZ? I could bring them back... I am in Holland.

RaZ... I love the siding. I think it is creative, don't see how anyone could be offended... But then again we are talking about NN.....

Silly, if its Ok with you, I am going to try you shirt design on the cake.

The Sebrights are not claimed, so first comer gets them. They are very pretty birds and close to POL. The dominant roo is a very funny dude who will talk back if you talk to him first. Even at his top voice, you can't hear him in the front yard. I swear that I laugh louder than him.

And laughing at him will get him talking. The neighbor behind me comes out every day to call him and make him "talk" to her.

As to the siding, I'm pretty sure that "someone" will take offense over the colour scheme. Even though no one can see it unless they are trespassing.

I don't believe this. Bigboy just started crowing at 0430. And he got Blackie & Roo going too! I don't care much since I get up at 0300.....but usually they wait til 0500 or so (at least that is what I've noticed on my days off..since I leave the house by 0430/45 on work days...speaking of..time to go :))

Just a short time ago we would have thought that 54 degrees was down right balmy. Yet this morning, with the humidity at 98 percent it feel quite chilly. After Granny gets up and I get her breakfast fixed I need to work in the garden for a little while. Some of the corn I planted failed to germinate so I have seeds soaking for replanting. Also I have a hen fly into the garden a few days ago. I didn't notice until yeterday that she had pulled all of the cucumber plants out of the ground so those will have to be replanted as well.

Yesterday the doctors gave me drops to put in my ears to treat the infection that I contracted from moisture accumulation cause by my hearing aids. They told me to not wear them for 5 days while using the drops. As a result I would suggest everyone use a large type size when posting. That way I will be able to hear you better.

Pretty sure I won't be at CS this Saturday. For those that remember my "Thursday is dinner at Grandma's" nights, will know how hard this is for me. She passed away yesterday.

I was hoping someone would be able to help me out though. I have some business that I need to get done on Saturday. I have a silkie rooster that needs to go to Trefoil, and some silkie chicks to granny. And I was hoping to bring home a BCM pullet from Wynette. Plus I have other silkie chicks that need to go to their new forever home, some people sounded interested, but those could definitely wait. I'd like to get at least the "spoken for" swaps squared away. I live in Wayland (Allegan Co.). If you're going to CS and able to help me out please message me.
