X2Congratulations to Hannah!!![]()
Welcome Tracy! I really hope you made your chicken coop bigger than you needed. Chickens can be addicting very quickly.Hello Everyone! I'm Tracy I live in Morrice MI and I'm new to the chicken world. We just recently finished our chicken coop and bought 6 laying hens. (3 Isa browns, 1 barred rock, and 2 buff orpingtons) they are 5 months to a year old and all from the same owner. We have had them for 4 days now and are getting 3 eggs a day. I'm thinking that the other 3 hens got a little stressed out so I'm hoping soon they will start laying again since i was told by the couple we bought them from that they all layed well. I'm sure this heat we have been having isn't helping either. I just wanted to pop in and say hello and i look forward to learning a lot from all of you.![]()
Well that is good news. Her other foot doesn't have that forked toe thing. So I was concerned. I've never seen toes like that. You learn something new everyday. Thanks.Raz... the toes are normal for that breed. Do a band aide hobble on it, and add some electroltyes to their water.
