Uchytil, beautiful barn. Looks to be very well built. While I have built pole barns, I always advice my customers that a conventional stick built building is a much better investment. With many locales requiring a "rat wall" footing, and with the addition of any interior improvements, the cost difference is minimal, but the final product is something to be proud of. The largest gambrel roof barn we have built to date was a 32'x80' with 14' sidewalls.
Today turned out to be about friendship. Last night my friend of almost 50 years called and we tentatively planned on going to our deer blinds if it wasn't raining. So this morning as I sat drinking coffee and watch the rain fall, I was a little surprised when he showed up. He had decided that since the rain would prohibit either of us from doing anything outside we might as well go take my old farmer friend to lunch.
Since I was just with Marvin on Thursday he was surprised when we showed up but as soon as we suggested lunch he had his coat on almost before the words were out of my mouth.
