Yes, west coast certainly does cover dozens of towns! Since I'm new here, I don't want to break any rules or social norms. Some groups don't like to be anywhere near specific when talking about where they are located. I didn't know if this community was like that or not.Besides, without being able to show you my hand to point out my location, how else can I explain it? LOL
I also feed organic spring leaves from the grocery store and kale. We take daily walks and they eat all the bugs, weeds and mud they want to. I love raising them, I just can't keep them 
Anyone looking for a hatcher? We went to a farm in Canton in April and picked up some free eggs. I got 4 goose and 1 duck out of the hatch. The first 3 were named and are currently spoiled rotten! The other 2 geese were sold.
Well, I love hatching so much, that we went back to the farm and received 6 duck eggs. They have currently internally pipped and should be here in about 2-3 days. I love hatching them! But, I can't keep them. I would love to be a hatcher for anyone interested.

I start bathtub baths at 4 days old in warm water for 5-8 minutes, increasing each day by 1-2 minutes. I use the brinsea warmers, not heat lamps and we snuggle each night with the babies for about an hour. They will be kid and people friendly

I am currently in the process of making a salad bar in my new pea pen. So far I've got cilantro (?) and kale up. I've got spinach and baby bok choi planted. But I was planning on making the frame out of 1 x 6"'s and topping it with 1 x 1" wire, letting them graze on the greens as they came through the wire and hoping they couldn't pull the plants out. Is there a reason this won't work?
