Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Purebred Nigerian Dwarf kids are due in April! Whoohoo! Two does are confirmed bred through pregnancy testing (send in blood, get results by email). One doe hasn't settled. She's had four dates and is STILL open. I think it is because she doesn't like the buck I am pimping her with. She likes my other one who is older (and MUCH smellier). But the young guy got the other two bred, so he can do it without issues (he does stink, just not as much).

I have some Araucana eggs about to go into lockdown, too. They'll be basement chicks, hah!

My Nigerian dwarfs kidded last year. It was freezing! We had to have heat lamps on them. In May! We had two doelings and one buckling. Hope everything goes well for you. Can you post some pics after they're born?

I had kids born last year in March! We had to whisk them into the house to dry off, since hair dryers weren't working well enough. Which is why I am waited for April kids, it should be a teeny bit warmer in April, hah!

I will certainly post pictures. They're always so cute!
