Tax, This could be a good thing! And better hat the alternative if you do nothing!

Should have said:

I'm going to guess 3 Farmer!

And RAZ... blah blah blah... LOL!

my 2 cents on the photo... it's well done... but... I believe the flag code says this type of usage is a no no. Thats why people are pissy about it.

It's amazing what people can find to complain about. The recent photo of the newborn baby cradled in the American flag for instance. Personally I found it to be very touching and symbolic. A great representation of what we veterans served for, our country and our children. To me it demonstrated that our children should be protected (cradled) by the country the flag represents. How is this disrespectful? You see Olympic athletes with our flag draped over their shoulders yet you hear no complaints. I wonder if the complaints were because it showed a military person as well? I wonder how many of those who found fault have actually served or is all they give our nation is lip service?
I think it's very adorable, I don't get it either

Sorry to hear your troubles, RaZ. But, you'll be feeling so much better once you heal. Hope all goes well when the time comes.

Weather is beautiful, and I have no energy to get things done. I'm on my second round of pneumonia since Jan. I'm so tired and tired of being sick. I want to get outside and do something!!

@ RaZ, Chickflick just said it perfectly. Hang tough. (hugs).

@ Farmerboy, I have zero experience with anything birthing anything, I just wanted to chime in and say that she looks adorable, hysterical, and clunky.

when her time to birth it/them.

@ Opa and his pic...Well, I think it's lovely and don't see the problem. But these days people seem to get so offended so easily.

Ha! I got so wrapped up reading about everyone I forgot to ask: I have been noticing one of my chicks (they are approximately three weeks old) seeming to yawn and stretch her neck. I've read there's something called gapeworm-could she have that ALREADY? I've held her to listen for a "gurgling" sound but I think all I heard was her little heartbeat. She seems just fine otherwise.

Adjusting her crop probably.

I agree Opa, I too am a Veteran (peace time vet) and I have no problem with that Photo. People need to lighten up. I believe for something to be disrespectful the intent has to be disrespectful. To me this is a beautiful Photo.
