I'm grateful for this weather. I took me and my unspecified, joint attacking autoimmune disease on a 23 mile group bike ride on the east side of Detroit. It was awesome. The cool weather made it a challenge because it was COLD, but it was way more pleasant than our 26 mile bike ride on 85+ degree memorial day. Apparently I'm still young. I'm also using this cooler weather to pen the birds so I can fix a pest issue under the coop. Now it's time to mow the lawn and then whatever else strikes our fancy until we run out of daylight and energy.

I love that it's cooler! Nothing done here today though; got home from work at 5:20pm. Chickens running around outside, much happier in the cool.
I'm an idiot! Chicks that were supposed to be Barnvelders are actually Wyandottes, and it took me a while to get over 'intentional blindness' and see them for who they are. Nice chicks, all pullets, but some will be available.
