Chicks might tempt me if we got rid of the three and a half feet of snow out in the chick pen or our daily highs were above 15 degrees.

I like chicks in spring, with the flowers instead.

Well, they finally got US 2 open this morning, after 3 days of a 22 mile closure. And it's snowing again

At least the temp is up to 15 this am already - maybe a high close to 20. And blessed sun tomorrow!

Granny passed away this morning.. May she rest in peace. She was a special lady. I was one of the lucky ones that got a quilted chicken pin cushion that she made several for chickenstock. I will treasure it and it will be a reminder of what a lovely lady she was.

I was a lucky one too! She was such a hoot at Chicken stock and we'll miss her.

Me too, mine rides around in my car with me as a good luck charm. I'm sure Sam will miss her terribly, she was such a funny, nice lady.
