Nice enough today to get a temporary run set up for the hens. It was the first day for them to be outside since I got them last fall.

The panels are from a friend's old dog pen. They are beat up, bent and kind of ugly. But free is a good price. I'll get posts set for a better fenced run when the ground thaws some.

Leg is feeling better. Still limping around, but better.
Randy, I know your chickens were happy to get out.... finally! Soon you will be digging in the mud to set your fence posts.
Looks like it's going to be a pretty day. I'll have to try and get some things done. Have a good day all...

Am pumped(kinda) to set eggs on the Equinox this week.
Been bolstering nutrition(probably a bit late) and setting aside all the CCL eggs.
Hope to sell all the pullet chicks at the local mill, males will got to raptor rescue.
If that all works out, might set another batch in late April.

No, RAZ, I didn't have the brown bottle flu, I'm actually cutting way back on that stuff. LOL!...........I think I got food poisoning...I ate a packaged meal from the machine at work (aptly named the wheel of death)... Felt bad about an hour after eating it and got progressively worse. Though there is also a bug going around so it could have been that too. I felt better Saturday, worked Sunday and ate a meal Sunday evening after not eating all weekend...that made me feel crappy again. So I stayed home to rest Monday, felt better in the afternoon, so I got up to do some maintenance on my reef tank and totally threw my back out. I swear, I'm falling apart! It went back in place at 4:30 this morning. I'm at work with a lot of pain, but can at least move and breath today.

My 'spine whacks' often goes back into place while sleeping, especially if I take a hot shower and some ibuprofen before going to bed.

Yeah that's what I did, long soak in hot bath and mattress heater cranked up... it was so hard to find a position to fall asleep in it was so bad. I try to avoid ibuprofen because I took them for so long that they ate my guts up. A co worker gave me some natural muscle relax supplements, it helped a little. Some days I just can't get ahead... frustrating.

Sounds like a lot of you could all use a good massage. My next opening for an hour is not until Monday. After that, there's a couple of half hour slots until about mid april. No rest for the wicked here.

Well, I had the pleasure of driving a BMW 740I last night... nice car! Very smooth ride, even on MI roads. DH lucked out and got it for his rental car for a job this week.
