Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Ah.... so you just lost the paper?
I did. Shingles were not on yet. I ran out of working season after I got the paper down.
I got most of it nailed back down after the wind storms. I do have to put down another course of ice/snow shield on the south side. Fortunately I have a couple of rolls left over.

I did a quick inspection today and there is no structural damage. So while not complete, I can get it buttoned back up this week. Provided I can get a spotter to watch, in case I fall off.

Oh Good!!...was thinking sheathing had flown!

Yes, a 911 caller is a good thing to have..BTDT.

What a good day!
All hens laid an egg...Sold 3 dozen...got the coop aired out...have a pallet boardwalk to the coop...motorcycle started up after a long winter nap...fence panels moved to the coop for a temporary run...girls will be able to go outside tomorrow.

The ground is still too frozen to drive fence posts but it won't be long until I can sink posts for a permanent run.

Welcome to spring. Enjoy and be well.

Yep..... Been There Done That.
I've done a lot of things around here that could have caused grave injury,
(roofing, chainsawing out in the woods, tall ladder work, etc)
usually with no backup '911 caller' and luckily have never had a catastrophe.
Am much less inclined, or even able, to do those things as I age tho,
rotten leg joints keep me mostly grounded and moving very carefully.

I didn't have a good day yesterday. I let the two rabbits out to run and play while I clean up coop, etc. When it was time to get them back in run, I stepped forward only to slip and fall on the frosted grass. My right leg didn't follow too well. I either strained or tore a ligament. Man, that hurt so bad. Hubby and I went to GR to watch my granddaughter compete in the state finals for gynnastics. Not a good idea. It was so painful to try and get around. Sitting with the knee bent just was not a good idea. Doctor appointment today at 10:15. You know it's bad if I'm going to the doctor. By the way, granddaughter did awesome! 2nd place all around in her age group! Glad I was there to see her perform.

BTDT. I hope it's not too bad Rose. I finally get to see an orthopedic specialist this coming Friday. This is from the fall I took in November. Damn insurance rules. Make a guy suffer for months while they shuffle papers in an office somewhere before approving any treatment.

There are quite a few chores to be done where I'd like to have a spotter. Roof work, ladder work, etc. Housework and washing dishes. :(

Work smarter not harder. Stay safe ya'll.
