Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Hope your knee is doing better, RaZ. I know everyone tells you that you need to rest and stay off it, but that's impossible to do. But, do take breaks as often as you can.
I'm getting an MRI done on my knee next Friday. Doc thinks I tore my meniscus. Been limping around for over a month now. Not fun. Hopefully things will get fixed soon.
Love this weather. Wasn't the weekend beautiful? Trees are budding out. Spring bulbs are coming to life. Love this time of year!
Have a good day all!

I go back for a follow up visit on Friday. I think I overdid it on Monday. Work had me on my feet for more than 12 hours. Knee aches and twisted my back. Not enough help and the other person kept disappearing. Some kind of power struggle between assistant managers.

I've been without power all week. When my bank info was stolen, the DTE bill bounced didn't get paid. No power until I pay back the bill plus another deposit on top of that. What DTE wants is more than my paychecks. Meanwhile the bank is "looking into it". Could be weeks before they figure it out. Things have certainly taken a turn for the worse.

Hopefully DTE will realize it was beyond your control. Wish these big companies would grow a heart. Do you have a generator? Things were going too good for you...
DTE won't cooperate. The social worker said that the power was on and wanted to argue with me when I said it wasn't. I so enjoy sitting in the dark and cold with no water and the food spoiling.
Looks like I'm not supposed to have things go well.

Call in an outage then. They'll have to investigate it. I know DTE can be a pain.

Has your dr given you work restrictions - they have to give you time to rest your leg. Ain't no one going to look out for you at work. If I had a manager "hiding" when they were needed, I'd hunt them down..lol! No rest for the wicked!

Up here they will not turn your power off in the winter, but once it starts warming up they will do so if you are in arrears far enough. What kind of an idiot is the social worker, by the way.

Wish you were closer, I have a generator you could use. Might be something to put on your list for when you get back on your feet, the farther away you live from population centers the more likely you are to need one in foul weather. I've had to use emergency power to keep an incubator running when there was snow in May.

Speaking of which, I heard the bad word for you guys downstate on the weather for this weekend...
