Better the shear pin than twisting the whole dang PTO shaft. My brother and I managed to do that while drilling out some broken posts to replace them. we just kinda stood there rather impressed with it all when we saw just what in the world we did to it.Thanks for all the b-day wishes. Both here and PM.
I was out drilling post holes for an expanded chicken run and I broke a shear pin on the PTO. Expansion will have to wait now.
I found a missing little one. She was under the front porch, she has been gone for about 3 days now. She is back in the coop with the others.
Going back out to switch attachments on the and do some more chores. Loving this warm weather!
Feeding wild birds was at the top of my budget cut list when I 'retired'....it's expensive!Darn hummingbirds are eating me out of house and home. 5 pounds of sugar was rendered into nectar since the weekend. I'm now out of critter food until payday.![]()
Yeah, but....It's disgusting and miserable! My first time broody hen decided that she resented being moved, and quit. Eggs in various stages of rot when candled tonight. Yuck!!!
Maybe another time...
It's just too warm; can't call it hot, considering temps elsewhere, but still not in my comfort zone.
Working tomorrow, in air conditioning, wonderful!
