I got my first little white(ish) egg from one of my Barred Holland pullets today!

One of my earliest closing time yet. The store closes at 11:00 and I got out at 11:35. Home at midnight. Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a much better 2020.

The blizzard is over....driveway cleared, house sitting check done, sun's out.
Now just need an egg laid and the day will be perfect!

Not much of a blizzard here. Only an inch or two. It will probably melt in a day or so. It was sunny and bright all day but the chickens didn't want to come out of the coop. One brief visit in to the wind was enough. They stayed in so I locked them up before I went to work. Got 7 eggs out of 9 hens.

Have we all decided on a location for CS20? I haven't seen anything discussed much for an alternative to our usual location.

Oh crap, forgot all about it. Need to run and get it reserved. The few people that responded said they liked the original park.

I literally brushed my teeth and threw on some clothes and high tailed it to the township office. CS20 will be held on June 20th. Delta Mills Park.
