Crowing
I was going for 8x8 but decided on 10x8. Yes lumber is pretty expensive these days and I have to pay for shipment because my chevy blazer can barely haul anything,@Dreamzchaser, Sheets of plywood (and other building materials) are 4x8 feet. If you keep your measurements in multiples of 4 (4, 8,12,16), then you will need to make fewer cuts. You also end up with more useable leftover pieces.
So going from 10 to 8 feet will help you to use your building materials more efficiently. And since they've gotten waaay more expensive, that is a good thing!
