Do not order on line nor without looking at what you are paying for. Lumber is expensive still and the quality has lowered. Some have mold and bad cuts or warped. Make sure you see what you are getting. I ordered fencing and 3 weeks later it is all warped and full of mold.

I'll be going into Menards Friday morning to pick some stuff up

Well it was a pretty good day here. Day 1 of a 3 day vacation. A buddy came over and helped me get the log splitter fixed. We then split a bunch of wood that I had pre-cut to stove length. Got 4 face cords of wood stacked and ready for winter. Another cord of pine split for use in the firepit.
I was going to mount the post hole drill to the tractor but it started to rain so I came in. Lasted about 10 minutes then stopped. Now I don't feel like going back out to do the job. I need to set posts and fence off a new run for the chickens. My birds have been free ranging for a couple of months now. I need to put an end to that before I experience a loss.

I saw my podiatrist yesterday and got 2 cortisone shots in my foot. Just a temporary fix. She thinks I'm going to need surgery to correct what she thinks is wrong. She is going to schedule a couple of diagnostic tests for confirmation. I'm about ready to have the darn thing amputated if it will relieve the pain.

I guess this is good news: If one of my three chicks (supposedly sexed pullets) is a cockerel, my neighbor will take him for her flock.

I am sooo hoping I got three girls. Something in my gut says I didn't. Maybe it's just acid indigestion.

I made a 3d model and the building is going to be 16x14x12. There is going to be a loft part so we are making 4 feet for that area

I would post a screenshot if it didn't get deleted when my computer died :/ Not sure what program I used but it looked really cool and I was pleased with it

I think I have a good idea from memory. I'm basing it off a cabin I saw for sale that was like $19,000 so I figured it'll probably be better if I just build one
