Dreams, I tend to agree with chickflick. It's easy to give advice to other folks, true, but your hubby sounds like a leach, and you don't need to be used like this!
How about "Write when you find work" as a better plan?!

Yeah, this cloud has been around a long time now. In fact it is kind of cloudy here today. I hope it doesn't rain. I have the couch on the front porch to give it a good cleaning. Going to try to get caught up on chores now that I have time.
The neighbors have been great since they bought the place next door last September. They bought a lake house a few weeks ago that will be their retirement home. They have the one next door up for sale. They completely upgraded the roof and exterior.

Now that I'm free, Keb says I can do some work for him for extra cash. That will help.

It was about 2 months after starting there. June 1 we were unloading a trailer that was over 100" and had no fan for circulation. I had a near nscnyopy (sp?) that put in hospital for a week. That was when they found the blockage and scheduled the open heart.

Time to find a new job. Maybe I'll start a modeling career.

Blanch laid nothing today. Seems like my green tiny eggs are every other day, What a slacker!

Not all breeds are every day layers. There are quite a few who lay every other day or even less.

It’s crushing to see that they would do that to you @RaZ given the fact they are having such a hard time finding good help.(I am not questioning you…this environment is simply nuts right now.)
Are you sure you weren’t taken off the schedule because you were hospitalized and they weren’t sure you were coming back?
Are you in a union? If so you could call your rep?

They are severely understaffed but they are on a mission to get rid of the union at any cost. I'm calling the toll free number for union HQ. My neighbor works with the Bar and she is going to get me in contact with a labour attorney.

It was funny. On Sunday a couple of people called in and there was only one guy and me to unload the truck. We didn't even get a thank you. That was the second time in 3 weeks. I'm glad to be out of that nonsense.

So maybe I'm not fired. My manager called to ask me when I was coming back. I was taken off the schedule but she says I was put back on for next week. I don't think anyone actually knows what is going on. I certainly don't know. Communication has never been very good at the store.
