Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

The problem is, was she the egg breaker or just taking advantage? I may just have to keep pulling birds until I'm able to ID the guilty party. I did put a couple ceramic eggs in there.
Man, it's hard to figure out who/why.
Was any shell left to determine if it was a weak shell thus easily broken?

I caught one of my yearlings coming out of the nest box on a scouting trip
How old in months?

Had a nest messing scouter once, she was batshitcrazy(long sad story)....and delicious.

What a difference week makes! These sugar maple leaves will be gone, very soon

We got the monitor roof on the run. That actually went easier than I thought it would. I got the polycarbonate panels on, and that went pretty well, after I got the first one done. (The first one is always the hardest.)

Now I need to do some amendments that I hadn't thought of. This reminds me of when I did plastic injection mold design. My boss would look at my drawing and saw, "Well, that looks great. But now we have new part data, so figure out what you're going to do about XYZ."

Fun times...

I am just letting you know that Phoebe is no longer. She had a good short life. I had to let her go and I am so heart broken. I really love that rebel chicken. Since small she will crawl up on my shoulder, was the queen of the flock, was fiesty, but the xlarge egg layer, loving and patient at night to get her snack. I sure going to miss her. phoebe2secondstunt.gif phoebesmegaegg72021.jpg Phoebeready2sleep172121.jpg Phoebeselfieday5.jpg Phoebesunbathing1.jpg
