Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

A hospital is the best place to catch anything. When I went on Oct 11th, I requested a wheel chair. I held my right arm and with my feet I was rolling anywhere away from people.I almost rolled myslef into the bathroom. I parked myself in a hallway to get to the main hospital from the ER. It was nerve wrecking. I had smoked for about 30 years so I know I do not have lungs to support that thing.

Oh, just woke up,lol

Well, seems like it is official. Winter has began. It is snowing lightly here and they were getting ready to go inside so I went out and opened the run door and left it open to see who will be brave enough. The leghorn did as teh ISA and RIR just watched her walked around for about a minute and then went back in. Then they pecked at the snow on the tip of my boots. It was so funny. I see myself in her head:

"Ok, I go out. Look I am out and I am fine. Look, I can walk around and I am still fine. Look I can go for a walk on this white stuff. Ok, this white stuff is getting my feet cold. Ok, I am done. I am going in "

I have tried to learn how to crochet, I evidently just don't have it in me to keep at it.

My current project, well, if my knee stops hurting.

Tomorrow I call the vet and see if he suggests an MRI for my knee. I hope no physical therapy.

We had a very nice visit yesterday, except that no plants left, not my plan at all! And the coop was not pretty; needed more shavings and major cobweb cleanout. Never mind...
Today, cold and windy, but at work. DH didn't let the birds out, so everyone was cozy on their roosts when I got home. No counting necessary, either!
Need to get hay tomorrow morning, and give the horses another round bale.
It's not actually snowing here, rather pelting ice pellets. Winter is on the way!
Might get up at 4am to see the eclipse, if it clears off by then. Or maybe not...
