Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I think she flew up away from the hawk and stayed. She is still to young, I think. But everyone is fine. Just upset they cannot come out much since it has been raining a lot and being cold. Here is a few pictures of Kikiriki. I think he is so handsome and he knows it,lol

Oh geez. I'm not getting notice of new posts here. Missed out on a couple of pages.

Anywho...chickens and ducks are all fine. The moult continues, only 1 egg in the past week.

I have several bales of straw and TSC flakes for a complete coop clean out. I just need to wait out the rain for the next few days.

I hear you @RaZ. Glad I did it right before this rain. Heard in the UP snowed and will snow again about 5inch. Ours is coming, lol maybe tomorrow and Wednesday.
Busy crocheting since animals have to stay in. Baby Mama is miserable. Almost skin no feathers. Fell so bad for her. Eggs are down too. 3 a day as a minimum from 7 laying hens.

We had snow here yesterday afternoon. Came down so fast that it actually turned the ground white (briefly). Beautiful huge, fluffy snowflakes (I would have been delighted later in the season, but I'm just not ready for it yet... Maybe I'm just getting too old.)

In the morning I had told my daughter that I did not think it was going to snow (She had come home from school last week saying it was supposed to snow Monday and Tuesday). When she got home from school, I had to tell her that I was wrong!
