Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Posting for a friend. Anyone looking for a cockerel or two? Two sweet boys are available for free, hatched for fun with her kids and can’t have roosters where she lives. She’s not 100% sure on breeds but we are guessing barred rock on one and a mix of a barred rock and lavender orpington or something? Here’s some pictures. These birds were actually raised in the house and have been handled their whole lives and are very sweet boys. This person lives in Wayne county Michigan.

Ostara greetings ya'll.
Beautiful day here. It's supposed to be nice for several days. I'll be able to get the car and bike out and cleaned up. I got out of work early and had a chance to play with the dogs. I think I broke Winston.

I was throwing the toy for him to chase. A good half hour of full speed running (him not me). He finally got the nerve up to come off the porch a couple of days ago. He has been with me to open and close the coop. He hasn't chased any of the birds. For that I am very happy. He has been quite obedient and comes to my side when I say "with me". We have been working on this training all weekend and I think he will only get better the more we can burn that puppy energy. Even still I'm working on getting a run fenced off with some extra pasture fencing that I have. I want to start training him to take walks in the woods with me and Bella. I'll be able to get him chipped in about 10 days. I think that he can quickly learn to stay around the house but I want the chip just in case he goes walk-about. I'm so glad this shelter dog found me. :love

Happy Easter everyone! It’s absolutely gorgeous here! Been outside all day after church! Currently laying in the yard in a blanket reading while grazing our one horse with an injury who can’t go in the field.
