Hillbilly Hen,
I am so sorry you are not feeling well! I hope things improve!

What a beautiful story, CG. Drs found a cyst on the baby's back, I think. Got the info second hand so not sure all what is going on. Can't imagine going thru this.

I would seriously NOT sell the eggs you found to anyone. You can't know for sure how long they've been there, and...well, I just wouldn't. JMO! I sell mine at work for $2.50/dozen, and I typically run out every week. I have a list of peeps that I go to secondarily, should I have extra.
I would never sell these eggs. In fact when I collect egg, I put the dates on them. When I find nest like this, I do a float test, then warn hubby, and then he cracks them one by one in a cup or bowl.

Quote: I miss my goats and goat milk. I don't miss them getting out and coming in the house, eing my flowers and garden, creating havoc in the barnyard, etc. well maybe I miss it a little. I was milking as much as 6 goats at one time. We had so much milk that I was making mozzella and had tried making cheddar cheese. I miss my raw milk.

When I was a little girl we had goats. They were climbers!
One day we came home and found them on the roof of our house

Nothing like goats!
Mine were so comical. We live in a raised ranch with a walkout basement at the other end of the house. I rmemeber one time that all 4 of us were sitting around the table having dinner and we could hear these noises coming up the steps. We look over towards the steps and there old Angel, our nubian old lady, looking right back at us and almost in our living room. I take her back downstairs and out the door and see nanny berries ALL over the floor. They came our her rear end and bounced everywhere.

Well, had an eventful day today... My little sister got married. When I hugged her the last time with the last name "Henson", I won't lie, I cried a little. Glad to have gained a brother, though. Love those two!
