Hate to dissappoint you raz, but that's only the tail end of this year's harvest! Lol. These are thai dragon, cayenne, also there were habeneros, cherry bombs.........and with the epic temps boy did the peppers get hot this year! Last year he grew the ghost pepper, which was the hottest pepper in the world last year. This year 's hottest was scorpion butch t but we didn't grow it............. I also grew peppers last year that were 2 foot purple plants, with tiny purple peppers, that actually made DH hiccup! He has jars and jars of ground up dried peppers.

I have the egg she layed the day she died. The other 3 from her had been in the fridge, and those never even started.
The others are from my favorite roo, who is also gone and the buff blue hen
I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this story.............Don't blame the girl for her confusion about the alien though, lol.I had a couple kids over last night- friends of my son- and they saw the chickens. The 21 year old said, "Do you eat their eggs?" and I said "Of course"- then they all said, "Ew thats sick. Thats gross".
Tell him congratulations for me. I've killed a couple of hundred yet I still remember my first deer. When my sons took their first deer I ask them to write about their hunt. Now some 30 years later those stories have become cherished mementos.Had a good trip today. It's always a plus to bring home one less bird than you took! Our new addition has been named Cotton. Had a nice time visiting and eyeballing birds. My trip back I saw two deer, two coyote and two rainbows. Stopped at Jay's at the wrong time as it was crawling with hunters, and didn't find the two things I wanted.
Tonight my son got a doe. His face says it all. There was no complaints from him that there wasn't horns involved. He and dad are off showing it off now. On my way out to the field to pick them up I was treated to yet another rainbow, this one full and double.
where did you get them? I may pm you.......https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/710439/new-bantam-rooster
