Hi Wrights, welcome to the Michigan thread

I an being arm-twisted a little today by my BF, his sister and some friends. They are all going up to a bar in Hessel for a concert at a bar, bought me a ticket too, and I am not really interested. 130 people packed into a bar big enough for maybe 100, and I dont like crowds - especially very loud drunk crowds. Until 10 pm when I have to be up at 4:30. They consider me the perfect designated driver, as I drink very little and have a car that seats 7. But I can always sneak across the road and see if the perch are biting,. The things you do for love...

I love the list!!! It's good to be able to see who is nearby. There are a few of us in the Manistee/Mason county area- I'm right near the county line so I call both home.

I am actually in Mason county, but I can see manistee county from here! And I am moving into Manistee in a few days when I close on my house.

Anybody have bantam cochins? I am looking for some calico/mille fleur bantam cochins. If anyone has hatching eggs i would rather they have the shortest trip possible with the Post Office!!

I also love the idea of a listing who lives where. It is nice to know who is close to me on here.

Tried my hand at making non-dairy ice cream yesterday. I must say, it was really good! Basic ingredients were egg yolks, non-dairy creamer, and vanilla soy milk. It is actually quite good!
