I've spent the last several morning watching the sun rise through the trees from my deer blind and I've realized that the older you become the more significent a sunrise truly is.

For those of you who want a different use for over-ripe bananas try the cake that I posted on Opa's place.

21 chickens in all! How in the world did this happen? I just wanted a few chickens now I have a whole herd of the silly birds.

not seeing anything from my deer blind, and I ALWAYS do. land owner got the lay off and has been cutting lots of trees and selling lumbeer, we think that has helped scatter them out of there. then again, I do take lots of naps...

came home to do laundry and get some showers, going back after thnksgiving. good luck.

And we would know if you were a chicken keeper criminal or not.

I've decided that as long as the temperatures stay in the 50s I'm not going to bother with hunting. Lots of season left and temps are supposed to fall this weekend.

Nova, you forgot my hubby had a fight with a chainsaw and lost, I have a new grand-baby, my daughter had to have a blood patch because when she had a epidural that leaked spinal fluid out she got a spinal headache, I got my sons chickens at my house now big jersey giants ummmmm I can't remember what else

Juise, I thought it would take much less plastic than it did, but I do have a 10x30 section of plastic left, you are more than welcome to it. Good job on you garden plot too! Something you can REALLY be proud of when you look at it.

Oh, oh, oh! And I wanted to report back, I don't remember if I told you guys that I built an elevated poop board and new roost? I put a lip around the edge and filled it with sand. Now I am cleaning the chicken coop with a kitty litter scoop and a bucket instead of a shovel and wheelbarrow. I love it so much and it is awesome! Saves my back, too. I'm especially looking forward to that easier cleaning over the winter.
