Woke up with three inches of the stuff. Lets just say it was a pain doing morning chores. Dogs loved it, birds not so much.

Hunting has been a bust so far this season. Historically I've killed more deer during muzzle loader season and late doe season. Hope it holds true this year.Hi Sam,
Good to hear your voice this morning. How's the deer hunting going? The welsummers are growing and three of them are crowing, now. Take care.
I haven't a clue what your "reason" is, but in my opinion, there is no good reason for "getting rid" of your dog. When you adopt an animal it's a lifetime commitment, just like when you have children. If there is a problem fix it without dumping the dog (although if you're of a mindset to dump it, it's probably better off with someone else). If you aren't prepared for that then you shouldn't be adopting in the first place. If you do "get rid" of this dog I hope to god you don't plan on getting another one. Also, don't just try one rescue, there are thousands out there, keep looking until you find one that has room.
Well sorry my needing to rehome Tommie has upset you so much. The last time she bit my husband she really tore him up she bit him twice that time and it still is not healed! After 3 1/2 weeks. She is a blue heeler and I love her soooooo much that my husband was willing to take the chance with her but he can't keep living in fear. I really don't know what happened to her I got her when she was 9 months old and she was great till one day she decides to attack my other heeler who was around 10 at the time she for no reason would attack him I tried everything to get her to stop. He died last January and soon after she started attacking my husband! Who by the way is the most gentle guy he don't yell at her or hit her even when she bites him. I can't trust her anymore after the last bite, I have grandkids and she also took to biting my grown son. I don't know what happeded to her if anything before I got her. She is so protective of me. I tried a rescue group here in Michigan that rescues only heelers but she is so full I have to do something right now I keep her away from my husband in the house when he is up I have to either put her outside in the kennel or tie her to a heavy chair near her bed just in case I could just tell her to stay but my husband don't want to trust her. Otherwise I don't just willy nilly get dogs and then get rid of them. I had my last dog from 10 weeks to 12 years then he died, best dog ever. So yes sometimes there is a good reason to re-home a dog, I think my husbands well being is a good one. Also you can equate a dog to a child they are not the same thing.
