you know how i was telling you that one of the ducks are laying double yolks, well i opened 2 of them today to make a cake, and one of them, the 2 yolks were fused together, and they both had a bullseye, on opposite sides, the other double yolk i opened only one yolk was fertilized

well next Sunday give a day or 2 will find out how that double yolk baby does,
i checked yesterday i could see a baby moving but i dont know if there is one or two baby's in there, i know its growing because there is not as much room at the bottom of egg.

going to go see if i can see those Northern lights

My son called last night to tell me about the northern lights but unfortunately the light pollution for Howell prevented me from seeing anything.
Today is looking like it may be a half way decent day and hopefully I can get more done on winterizing my coops and runs.

i am just flying around here. i feel like my schedule is so weird with Rick gone. it's so strange! gotta clean our bedroom today. it's in the state of bedlam in there. i don't like it at all! yikes.

guess which lights i saw last night???? none. me and Elizabeth had a pajama party with popcorn seasoned with Old Bay seasoning and both of us knocked out cold by like 11:30. we are like old ladies!

I didn't plan on buying anything, but was walking around and saw some Belgian Quail d'Anver cockerels. I have 4 girls and no boy!! I have been looking but have only found boys out of state. So I had to stop. Ended up getting a beautiful cockerel that won best cockerel (for that breed) at Frankenmuth! Great price too!

What a great day!

Got my grocery shopping done, a little housework and did the 5 Mile advaced walk with my walking video, my daughter Abbie even did the whole thing with me!

Now to think of something delish for dinner...

Its called the 5-Mile walk....it lets choose from two different 3 mile walks or two different 5-mile walks. It runs 65 minutes!

I need to get some new ones I let some friends borrow some of my others and I never got them back.

Mmmm, I could go for a big ceaser salad, I just bought some feta cheese with my groceries today!

My new favorite breakfast is 3 egg whites whipped in a bowl, pour in your favorite egg pan, then add green onions and some parmesan cheese when its set up enough to flip you flip it over and the parm gets all toasted, brown and good!

Its soooo good and low cal too!
