I am too freaked to sleep. Every sound and I freeze. I've already been outside three times with a flashlight. Alls well in the hen yard.

Speaking of hen yard anyone interested in this Oshamo? No really...no pushing to be first. I'm sorry I wil have to draw straws to determine the winner....

I am going to try to go to CHICKENSTOCK, it sounds like there are a lot of people going. I am trying to get my husband to take off of work and if that don't work I will try to talk my daughter into going with me.

Or you can get off I-69 / I-96 at the Saginaw Rd exit and go east to the first intersection, Canal Road, and turn left/north. Canal will eventually curve right and become Old River Trail, and the park is less than a mile. (Saginaw is under construction and is only westbound east of Canal.)

I have a question for those of you more season chickeners (basically everyone). The high for Saturday is supposed to be around 80 degrees. I'm bringing home 1 week old ducklings. How do I keep them warm while we're at chickenstock and on the way home? I thought about hand warmers but I don't even know if I can get them this time of year and it's too late to order anything.

Whoever has Jersey Giants, what you are asking for them? I'll have about $40 with me, maybe more depending on if someone here buys something we are selling. Plus the chicks and ducklings I'm bringing, and maybe some crocheted caps and baby blankets. Not sure if anyone is interested, but I'll bring them anyway since I know several people have young kids and teenagers who really like them.

I'll also be bringing mixed chicks and ducklings. Farmyard specials as I call them. Nothing older since we sold what we had so we could go to chickenstock.

I know it's impossible, but if anyone...ANYONE can get a hold of a call duck hen, I will owe you for years!!

Raz - If I didn't mention it before, and hopefully it's not too late, but I want the $6 skep. I can't remember what size that was, I just remember its what I wanted lol

Oh, I know a lot of people here don't have ducks. Anyone interested in some duck eggs?? CHEAP!! We are overloaded again!!! If you have BCM hens, you get anything I've mentioned FREE!!!! lol
