anybody in Michigan with Black Jersey Giant eggs?? Don't have to be SQ or anything special. I'd just like too incubate a few. Don't want them to have to travel any long distance to get to me, Im mid-state in Munger, just outside tri-cities.
Hi Flatlander!! You'll love it here!! It's a fun place. Lots of info, so much that it boggles your mind. Do what works for you and use common sense. We'll be here to answer any questions.
Cold day with a tiny bit of little teeny eenny white stuff floating around. Well, not floating, blowing. There's a bit of a breeze. Chickens are hanging out in the garage. Guess they don't like the wind.
Angela, dont mull over names too much before you get your chicks. Once you see em, those names might not fit. Then you'll have to start all over again.
So many of my names depend on coloring and or personality.
Have a good day everyone!

Kind of a similar search for me. I'm looking for white JGs that have already hatched. I don't have an incubator and I really can't go down that path!
I went to Hillbilly Hen's place this morning to pick up some hatching eggs for the NYH. She have a great setup for her birds! It was very nice to be at her place.
No snow yet.
Any that we had did not last very long.
I am glad for that, for I am not done working on the roof of the coop. I will welcome snow when I am good and ready.
