TEEVILLE,

I DIDN'T NOTICE YOU CUT DOWN ON NOVA'S POST UNTIL YOU SAID SO. THEN , I NOTICED YOU DID BUT NOT---- HOW . HOW? I REALLY WANT TO KNOW. I'M A COMPUTER DUD.

ANYONE KNOW HOW TO PRINT JUST A SECTION OF A POST? OR DOES THAT DEPEND ON THE COMPUTER AND/OR PRINTER?
As sj said, all I do is highlight the section I don't want with the cursor and then hit the back space key (or delete key) and it's all gone. Just hold down the left click button on your cursor until what you want to delete is highlighted then delete it.
Got to say, I didn't realize there was a mantis on your flower pic right away. Your description of the pic made me look closer. Poor butterfly. I see those now and then and take pics with my phone to show my DD. She likes creepy weird things. NOT spiders, though. Heaven help her if she sees one of them.

Bianca- looks like your soon to be new chicks are going to have a really nice coop. Your DH is doing a great job on it.

Nova- so sorry about the little chickie.

Yes they not only eat them, they eat them even if they are HUGE! The redhead biddy i am caring for ate one that was about 6" in front of my DH. Kinda bummed me out. I like them, and try to draw the predator bugs into my garden. I guess predator chickens are bigger.
I HATE bugs. There are three things in life I am afraid to death of and that is pigs, bugs, and frogs. I don't want any bug within 100 feet of me. Ewww Just thinking about them creeps me out. I can handle snakes or whatever else but NOT them things. Yuck.

Thanks fuzzybutt. I can get a few cloves while I am at meijer. I am out. Used the last up a bit ago... Last time I feed the girls and them boys garlic and pumpkin seeds.

I am jealous of the coop de Bianca. Of course, I am not a builder by trade, or married to one... So, I guess I will be happy with my coop construction abilities. also. I am getting better at it thou. Already considering the next coop. Will need one in a few months!

so, I guess when them tree frogs are climbing up your door, you get stuck on the landing?

I got my boys to catch toads last year, and then when they tried to get me to hold them, I told them I can't cuz toads will give you warts on yer nose. Lol. They chucked them toads so fast I nearly peed myself.

Heheh, my Mum is afraid of snakes too, but knows that they belong and take care of pests. One time I remember hiking in Wyoming with her early in the morning, I came across a tiny rattler on the trail. Good thing I was leading! The little dude was just happily sunning on a rock, but I was able to blaze a path around so Mom didn't get too wiggy about the snake! Last summer on a hike locally a big hognose snake made an appearance and though Mom skittered to a safe distance, she did think it was cool to see one! She tells me anytime she finds a snake when I am around (like if we are in the yard together), because that means I can catch it, admire it, and take pictures!

You're not going to want to come to my house then, lol. I have all three!

I have not seen any snakes this year. I think my dogs scare them off. Lol.
the other morning I found the head of a mole in my driveway. It sure would be nice to have some of them snakes that will take care of the mole issues...
We don't see as many snakes as we did the first year we moved into our house. They were everywhere. I didn't go out in the yard if I didn't have to. Then we got pigs the next year and we barely saw any. With the added chickens and barn cats we rarely see them.
As for the moles.....yea, barn cats. That's all I'll say.
