Good Morning!

Safe travels Opa. Praying for you family.

I just visited with my Aunt last night. Her Father passed away a week and a half ago in FL. They are having a memorial service this Saturday, but I cannot make it. So I stopped by to give her my condolences. Nice to visit and catch up.

The rain is cold and yucky.

Off to get the kids rolling...this time change is not going well for them!

Thanks MJ..... I'm hopeful...... I think maybe the ones closest to the light may be goners... but hopefully the ones in the back are ok. I always fill the extra spaces with extra eggs (usually mutts) so that they work as heat sinks... but I always use them around the outer edges where the temp may not be the most perfect and keep my best eggs in the center by the thermostat where the temp is the steadiest. Only time will tell.

good news: the ducks are really kicking into gear! found three eggs yesterday in the LF duck pen. go girls, go!

Good Morning! Everyone cross your fingers my mom bought me an incubator, it should ship out today woo hoo. I can't wait. My last batch I borrowed an LG from a friend. Out of 32 eggs I only got 3 chicks that survived and 3 that died in the process of hatching or very shortly after. I am geting a 1588 GENESIS!!! Hope I do better with this one. If not I give up.
