Dont LOOK! It was nice when I was blissfully ignorant and posting that it was 55 degrees here. Its now 38- that is all the warning you need.

I missed your thread about your dogs- what did you do?

Holding on to your hat is an understatement! It is whole body moving!!! Last night the rain was coming from the east at a 45* angle...this morning the wind is coming from the west/south west it felt like!!! Moon is nice, lots of clouds moving too.
Dress warm going to be cold the next few days!!!!

Off to get the day going! Enjoy your day everyone:)

Good morning everyone!

I'm staying away from Family Farm & Home in Mason, that's where this thing all began a year ago.

Windy....wow! Hope I got some buildings standing and shingles on the roof when it gets light out.

LOL Kim..... Guess I'll try to be blissfully ignorant for as long as I can get away with it today!

Oh... the dogs.... they used to sleep with us on the bed... but now that Sophie (Weim) is bigger than Halo (Luvabull), there is just NO room! So we kicked them off the bed and they were none to happy about it. Kept us up the first 2 nights crying and trying to get under the covers. It's all good now though... even if Halo thinks we don't love him anymore

... I think he'll get over it

Angie- this is the scene at 1:15 a.m....I am awakened by my husband yelling and cussing.."WHAT!? WHATS WRONG?", I ask. He is cussing and says, "I don't care- I want them out- I want to straighten my legs without hitting a dog, I want to roll over without smushing a cat...if Yogi has Gas, I dont want to smell it- I want THEM OUT OF THE BEDROOM!'

It wasnt funny at that time of the morning- I was trying to convince my pitbull (Yogi) that he needed to leave the room, while he was quite cozy on my side of the bed, and four of my cats were draped in various places across the bed...his Golden was on my side of the bed when I returned from depositing cats on the couch- lol.

Most of the animals made it back to the bedroom before I did.

When you try to get Halo down he turns into a lead weight... and Sophie does that toddler thing where she goes completely LIMP ...... and as soon as I get one down... the other is back up! LOL Sophie is good on her bed now...begrudgingly.... and every time I get up to leave the room... she hops up in my spot! Naughty dog

That's so my DH too... he's over 6 foot tall and the dogs always seem to want to lay on his side... I'm only 5 foot... so I don't notice it as much because I tend to sleep with my knees bent anyhow..... but when they get ON TOP of the covers and pull the blankets off me... I get so cold because I can;t budge them LOL

Morning everyone!
The wind is crazy!

I have a slow day today, so I will be baking some bread

and maybe do some cleaning

We have a gassy cat that likes to share our bed too. I don't mind, but Big Russ says he purrs to loud. I'm not sure how he can hear that little cat purr over his snoring!

Have a great day everyone, and don't blow away out there!

Glad to see people posting this morning---it means not everyone blew away!!!

It would be a good day to just stay home and bake bread--I wish I could!! Instead I am forced to go shopping. This Saturday is the cub scout Pinewood Derby and I need to pick up some weights for my sons car. Then I get so spend the rest of the day helping my oldest DD out by painting popsicle sticks so she can build her diorama of a southern plantation for social studies. We had horse 4-h last night and dog 4-h on Thursday, so I am being a nice mommy and helping her out.

I am feeling for all you owners of gassy pets----there is almost nothing worse. I never hardly ever feed the dogs people food, so they are usually safe, but the cats are the worst with there SBDs---so slient, but deadly---enough to curl your eyebrows!!!!

LOL The dogs do get gassy sometimes... but the DH is the WORST!!!! He always feels the need to 'air them out'

I keep telling him.... just leave them under the covers where they'll eventually settle..on YOU instead of migrating to ME

Ok, I give up. We are the snow capitol of the world. I didn't want to be, but we are!!!! The coops still have their roofs, so I am going back to bed and pull the covers over my head, if the covers are still there.
