Yes that chicken can see, Fuzzy....

I did try putting Belle in with Leila. She was so happy to see her mommy again, she went and stood on top of her. Looked at the little chicks poking their heads out from Leila, and nothing. She dind't seem fazed by them at all. What she wanted was to get back out of the brooder coop, so I took her out. I can't have her standing on top of Leila. LOL. She out weighs Leila now. BIGGER!

I put a roost up in the garage for Leilas old littles. They were roosting EVERYWHERE and crapping where I do not want crap. LOL. Like in a box of tools. LOL. SO, I made a roost, and then sat them all on it, and then hurriedly shut the light. HAHAHA.

I screwed wood to the fence where Roby keeps getting loose... Well the part that I un-hook to be able to get in and out of the back yard. Now I need to work on doing the same thing to the rest of the fenced area for the dogs. I am tired of her getting out and wandering. She is not a naughty dog, but I worry she will get squished.

Well, I am going to go and hang out with my heathens. I don't know why... BUT, I guess its cuz I likes them. LOL

OH, I felt under Leila, and the second egg is not finished hatching yet. bummer...

If anyone has any wisdom on allergies or asthma caused by Michigan pollen, please send it my way.
We are gluten, dairy, egg free. We have a HEPA filter in the furnace, a dehumidifier. John gets allergy shots each week and we see a naturopath and take supplements.
Gosh, what else could we do?

I am going to send you some info. I am sure you are already doing the best you can, and allergies can be a real witch. If you'd PM the supplements he is already taking, I may be able to find something that may work aside from what you are already trying.

(Sarah - I like the colour coding to isolate responses, I just totally stole that from you, hahaha!)

Well I would like to complain that you all quote each other into long long long pages of posts and then use differnent colors that are hard for me to read! Stop that!

Just keep it short people!

Some time ago, I read about the idea of a sarcasm / sardonic font. It was basically a backwards italic. I think it would be a much better idea than LOL or similar overused expressions. Maybe we can pick a colour for sarcasm text. How about orange? As in, orange you taking me seriously? That would certainly work for Juise.

Oh please!! No orange, I can hardly see the orange........

I think I am only 7 pages behind you all now! Back to reading......

Oooh, a Michigan thread! I'm from West Michigan. New to raising chickens. Just bought my dozen chicks from Townline in Zeeland. Three weeks along now and loving it!

Lol, okay, so I guess the colour coding doesn't help, then. It seemed nice to me to make it easier to connect which comment was in response to what.

As to length - erp - I know, some of my posts have come out really long, sorry! I'm not normally actually typing that much, just adding the quotes that I am responding to so that with any luck at least some people know what I am talking about some of the time.

They look long, but hopefully don't actually take take long to read because most of it is quotes.

OH, did you see my little silkie baby, Nancy?

GUESS WHAT! I am going to be picking up a few new Silkie pullets this weekend. YEAH! And they are MG free silkies! I am excited.

I adored your Silkie baby Nova! I hope you'll post photos soon of Leila, and that beautiful pullet that was a pure fav? How is she doing? She was so pretty!
I love your chickens!

I am with you on the orange! I tried to choose the darker colours thinking they weren't painful to read. Then I foolishly told Raz the orange was bothering me, so of course he had to keep using it. Weasel.
