Good morning! I get to go see Frizzledhen this morning. She has the most awesome set up for her chickens- my dream chicken hotel. Tomorrow I will be taking RIR eggs to MJ from Frizzledhen. These RIR are beautiful... dark, dark mahogany, nice brick shape, etc. Mine from her is the quietest off all my birds. So I meed lots of coffee for lots of driving around Michigan the next two days!

You are more than welcome to drop the eggs off at my home... I am about 25 minutes south of Jackson, near 127 S and US12... A Jerome address, but actually closer to Somerset Center, if you want to google it to see if it is worth your while to drive. You can take 50 to 94/127 to 12....

Should I drive directly toward frizzledhens' place right now? I'm putting a kid on a bus in 5 minutes and then I usually drive to work, but you're going to be about 20 mins from me soon ... decisions, decisions!!

i have had a horrid thing happen all. an opossum took my calls and one large fowl drake. it was awful. if y'all could keep me in your prayers, it would be much appreciated. my heart is pretty heavy and i don't want to be in agreement with that!

Crystal, let me see if i have more room. i am not sure how to incubate pheasant eggs, but if you give me the run down, i could try for you.

MJ-sorry about your ducks, you are in our prayers today, it is an awful feeling to lose critters

A mini meet up would be fun!

Well my hatch count is at 38! I am thrilled! Still have on pip in the bator and I am holding out hope for Crytal's dark eggies!

Cyrstal here are your babies, they are doing great, running around eating, drinking and napping!

Crystal just called and she believes we are dealing with a ferret or weasel with this issue. i agree with her. Rick is setting a live trap tonight to see if it wants an easy meal.

my heart is broken, but i'm going to move forward and not let it bring me down.
