Good Morning All! The snow needs to leave:(

MJ- Sorry about your loss. We had a mink a few years back do a number on our meat chickens. The mink was able to get out of the live trap, they can squeeze out of tiny places. Ended up getting a trapper and used a leg trap to get it, it took off with the trap(got it off the stake) never saw it again though! I have a leg trap if you need it. Praying for a successful hunt of the vermin!

Sold the laying hens that Rachel had for sale. Moved the month old chicks to the coop. Very happy and less work for us now with them in their own spot.

Off to start school. Have a great day everyone!

I'm orignally from Rhode Island, but moved here 8 years ago. Last summer we bought a 109 year old farm house in Livingston County.
I love Michigan as much as my home state, and hope to be here many more years. We very recently got some chicks, and are expecting the rest of them to be here shortly.

Oh MJ, I'm so sorry you lost them. I don't have any Calls as you know, but Quackers is laying every day now if you want some of her eggs let me know and I'll bring them right over to you.

If I can help you with anything over there, you know my number.

BTW, I did lose that chick we were talking about on the phone the other night.

Welcome bluemoon. I'm originally from MA but I like MI way more. Of course, I'm up north and was in central MA, way too many ppl and traffic for me.

BTW I just watched the 7 day on the weather channel, any snow will be up here not down where most of you guys seem to be. Only going to be in the 40s up here.

I have many friends who still live in Mass. Most are away from the cities now, but whenever I'm in New England, I have to pit stop in Boston:lol:
I've lived all over the place, but the two states I love most are here and Rhode Island. I'm not sure if you know RI well, but I lived near Matunuck Beach in South County.

I pray that you don't have a family of those little buggers around like we did. My husband used cat food in our bait trap and then he used the deceased possum body as bait. Both worked. Unfortunately they appear to be back again this year as my dog just got one the other day. Darned pesky varmints!!!! I will pray for you and all your little babies.
