Jaime, I am giving the ducks to Momma K Saturday. Anyway, if you're coming round Holland way anytime soon and like some of their eggs before they go, let me know. I have 2 dozen right now. I gave away 2 dozen yesterday! They were over a week old! I feed 2 dozen to the girls over the last several days. People round here don't know what's good for them.

Oh thanks for the clarification! I think it could be a pure cuckoo marans...it's HUGE though. it's almost 25-30% bigger than it's hatchmates.

Cuckoo's are huge. My rooster,Charlie, is one of the biggest roosters I have ever seen. But then Surfer Dan and Big Boy are huge too.
Have you and Robin thought anymore about those T Shirts you were talking about? If so I know for sure I want one haha My DIL wants one too.

BYC friends, we have had a loss and I'm wondering if any of you can help. My DD was raising Muscovys and a dog got into the garage... Well I'm sure you can figure out the rest.
I was wondering if any of you had a couple Muscovys you would be willing to part with or know where I could get some. Any help is appreciated, my DD is devastated!!

SILLY - It looks like of the 6 chicks that hatched, I have 3 girls and 3 boys. Do you want your 2 girls now or wait until they are older? I'm ok with either. (want a boy too? lol)

Well, last night me and my DD went all sneaky ninja and kidnapped Baby Girl from her hide-y hole nest. She was sitting on 13 eggs! All hers except one from one of the leghorns. Once we got them moved and settled, I was making sure everything was ok and what do you suspect I heard? Tapping! I had DD come listen and she heard it, too, plus saw an egg move on its own. Looks like we found Baby Girl and the nest just in time. So, how long is it before you see a chick once you hear tapping?
